Sliema Fight Co. not only focuses on physical fitness but also emphasizes the importance of community, offering mentorship to young athletes and collaborating with institutions like BioArte on cutting-edge research into athletic performance and the gut microbiome. His achievements also include winning the 2024 JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Malta Award. This victory took him to the European stage, where he competed with some of the most innovative minds in entrepreneurship. Though he fell just short of a win, the experience further strengthened his vision for growth and impact. Beyond his work with Sliema Fight Co., Jay’s creative side shines through as a professional artist, offering commissions in oils and watercolors. Sliema Fight Co. is rebranding to Malta Fight Co. powered by Best Gyms Malta (BGM). We started in Sliema, but we’ve outgrown that name. This isn’t just about one gym anymore—it’s about bringing combat sports to fighters all over Malta. Why the Change? When we launched in 2021, Sliema Fight Co. was just a small group of people who loved to train hard and fight harder. Fast forward to now, and we’ve built something bigger—national champions, packed-out classes, a fight night scene that’s picking up steam. But the truth is, we’re no longer going to be just a Sliema gym. By teaming up with Best Gyms Malta, we’re stepping up in a big way. This partnership means we can operate out of their gym network, giving our fighters access to better facilities, more locations, and a stronger fight community freeing up our team to focus on what matters: building fighters, not overheads.
